Good morning. I need to use Windows tools to shut down a computer after 1am, but I am not a user of the computer. How can I do that in a way that doesn’t allow the user of the computer to override it?
The person who needs to be off the computer at 1am is the only person that has an account on the computer currently. I think that means I’d need to make an account, put myself as the admin, and then use those tools for the other user of the computer right? I’d be looking more or less for step-by-step instructions.
I can get in as the other user so that shouldn’t be an issue. It’s my adult kid who’s asked me to help them with this because their staying up too late and missing morning commitments and doesn’t want to be able to override it themselves.
