Did I ruin my TV by overclocking it? How can I fix it?

I use an LG TV as an extra monitor connected to my Windows 10 PC. For fun, I decided to use the NVIDIA control panel to try to overclock the 60hz refresh rate to 70hz. It worked very shortly and then started flickering on and off so I turned it back. Now, it’s back to default settings. However, it still randomly disconnects and reconnects to my pc over and over again. I’m sure it’s back to the original settings, and I’ve tried using a different HDMI cord as well as a different HDMI port on the TV and nothing has fixed it. Did I permanently screw up my TV? Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Here’s the model of the TV in case that helps. The computer I built myself and it has an RTX 2070 graphics card and a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.

EDIT: Well, I left it unplugged for a while so I could open it up and inspect it. I set it back up and now it’s been working for two hours with no issues. Maybe it just needed to be unplugged for a while for the capacitors to drain or for it to cool down? Not sure, but it’s working now. Thanks for the help everyone!
