Since yesterday my computer’s been acting weird. Copying random stuff I didn’t even select. I restarted my computer several times and the first few minutes it’s fine but after that it happens again. I reset my computer, uninstalled the driver but the problem remained. Please, can anyone help?
I forgot to mention that I unplugged my keyboard and used another keyboard so that doesn’t seem to be the problem.
Edit: so yesterday I downloaded Radiant Viewer (medical viewer for dicom files) and uploaded some dicom files from an usb that I got from my professor. Since then my desktop has been acting like this. Crazy thing is, I downloaded Radiant viewer and the files from the usb onto my laptop and now the laptop has the same problem too… Im going crazy
Edit: I made videos of it happening:

feel my pain
Edit 3: ok so it’s definetely the usb drive that’s causing the problem. I did a full reset and formatted my disk. My computer seemed to be running smoothly. Then I inserted the USB drive and everything went shit again.
Edit 4: I did a factory reset and it seemed to work for about an hour. Than the trouble began again. Tomorrow i’ll try to do a fresh install of windows. See how that goes.
Edit 5: Problem still persists after the factory reset. I tried multiple malware detection programs/anti viral programs people suggested but none of them detected anything. I guess a clean wipe is the next step
Edit 6: clean installation of windows didn’t help either. I may be cause of the same USB drive I used as of the files I got from my professor so i’m going to try it with a different USB drive
Edit 7: so CRAZY CRAZY twist. I got an old laptop of mine to do some schoolwork. Suddenly, it started doing the same glitch!?? WTH. The usb didnt go anywhere near it. The only things I connected to the laptop was onedrive cloud, a keyboard and a mouse. So maybe it is one of those? I connected the mouse to my desktop and immediatly the glitch started!!! I did it several times and with my laptop too and anytime I connected the mouse the glitch started. I can make a video of it tomorrow. So I guess some kind of virus is in my mouse? I don’t know whether it’s only on my mouse, or that the computers themselves are infected too. I’m going to do yet another windows clean installation on my laptop and desktop with a fresh new USB drive. Im gonna connect the laptop to the probably infected mouse. So then im going to see wether the laptop is going to show the glitch and my desktop isnt. Then i’ll know for sure the mouse is the culprit and my desktop is clean. Still, the virus had to come from somewhere tho so that’s still unclear. And maybe my onedrive is infected too because the files of my professor are stored there too.. i’m not going to connect my laptop and desktop to onedrive for now.
Last edit: so I have resetted my laptop en desktop and stopped using the mouse. I’m still not sure if the files from the usb caused my mouse to do the glitches or if it”s something else but I haven’t had any issues since I stopped using the mouse. Thanks everyone for their help.
