My Lenovo would shut down constantly because my computer software needed a reboot and something was wrong with the BIOS and I didn’t have time to try to figure out any of that stuff so I just bought a new dell Inspiron.
I’ve had this Dell for 2 weeks and this morning I get on and it turns on with words in white saying “Updating your firmware” then under it “red words saying BIOS update failed, rebooting your system.” Then it flashes off and on saying “do no power down your system” then under the loading line says “charge computer before firmware update.”
Wtf? Am I being hacked? Is this a virus? Or am I dumb? In don’t understand computer stuff and it’s weird that this is happening on a NEW laptop.
The only thing that i had moved to my new laptop is my account or whatever when I logged in. I heard Mcafee is basically is virus and I have it because I thought it was for anti virus. So is this mcafee screwing with my system? Or do all computers need a bios update or whatever? Where can I go to get this fixed 😭 pls help!!
